NO-MESS Rice Breakfast

½ cup instant rice
½ cup powdered milk
½ cup chopped dried fruit
1/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
2 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 or less teaspoon salt
1 cup hot water

Backpacking-Breakfast
At home
Combined all dry ingredients in a heavy ziplock bag

On the trail
Add 1 cup of boiling water into the baggy. Zip up and set aside for 10 minutes. Makes 1 cup.
